Elderly woman found dead in apartment/ Police suspicions

An elderly woman was found dead in her apartment today in the village of Lin.

It is learned that the elderly woman lived alone and it is suspected that she may have fallen down the stairs and lost her life.

The body is being sent to the Pogradec hospital morgue for forensic examination.

"Around 12:00, in the village of Lin, Pogradec, citizen N. Sh., about 70 years old, was found in her apartment by her neighbor without signs of life.

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen lost her life as a result of falling down the stairs of the apartment where she lived alone.

"The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced./CNA
