He helped Habib Rexha to escape after the murder/ The 29-year-old is detained

The police of Kavaja have detained the citizen EK, 29 years old, after he helped the perpetrator of the murder, the citizen HR (detained yesterday) to leave the scene after committing the crime, taking him in his vehicle.

The vehicle was found and seized as material evidence.  

Also, the Police services have found the location of the weapon used by the perpetrator to kill the citizen AG, and are working to extract it.  

 " Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Kavajë Police Station, following the investigative actions carried out at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to clarify the circumstances of the event that occurred on 21.05.2023, in a bar, where a citizen was killed, based on in the evidence provided during the investigation and in the information provided by the information intelligence, they arrested the citizen EK, 29 years old, resident in Kavaja, for the criminal offense of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime".     

From the investigative actions, it has emerged that this citizen helped the perpetrator of the murder, citizen HR (arrested yesterday) to leave the scene after committing the crime, taking him in his vehicle. 

The vehicle was found and seized as material evidence.  

Also, the Police services have found the location of the weapon used by the perpetrator to kill the citizen AG, and are working to extract it.  

The additional materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police informs./ CNA.al
