Checks on London-Pristina flight/ Passenger found with around 10 thousand pounds

Detailed checks of passengers on the London-Pristina flight have been carried out at the airport in the capital of Kosovo.

The Border Police at Pristina International Airport has continued its activities in implementing the operational plan with the aim of checking passengers on the London-Pristina route and vice versa, in order to prevent smuggling and other legal violations.

In this case, a passenger had cash in excess of the allowed amount: £9,500.00 (€11,033.00).

According to procedures , 25% of the money has been confiscated./CNA
