Criminal incident in Kurbin stopped/37-year-old arrested

The police have prevented a criminal incident in Laç.

A 37-year-old man was involved in a conflict with several other people and during the conflict he fired a gun into the air.

Four other people were also involved in the conflict and are wanted.

Meanwhile, 37-year-old K. Rr. Alias KT was arrested. The weapon with which the 37-year-old fired the shot was also seized.

No one was injured in the conflict.

 

Police notification

Immediate police intervention prevents a serious criminal event.

A 37-year-old man is arrested and handcuffed with a pistol, with a cartridge in the chamber ready to fire.

The pistol firearm suspected of being used to fire into the air during the conflict has been seized.

Four citizens involved in the conflict are wanted.

After receiving a report of a physical conflict between several citizens, at around 11:00, on "Kurbini" Street, Laç, the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat intervened immediately, preventing the escalation of the physical conflict between 5 citizens, during which it is suspected that shots were fired.

As a result of the swift action, citizen K. Rr., alias KT, 37 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested and handcuffed. A "Glock" type firearm was found and seized as material evidence, with a cartridge in the chamber ready to fire.

Initial information indicates that the other citizens involved in this conflict, identified with the initials GD, 27 years old, resident of Tirana; E. Sh., 29 years old; E. Sh., 34 years old; and ER, 32 years old, resident of Laç, have been declared wanted and efforts are underway to capture them.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to fully document the event and identify other persons involved in the conflict, from which no one was injured.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Lezha, for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Threat" and "Disturbance of public peace", committed in collaboration./ CNA
