Violation of traffic rules/ Fine of around 100 thousand lek for 2 drivers

Two vehicle users in Dhërmi and Ksamil were identified and fined for violating traffic rules by overtaking incorrectly.

After a report was made about a vehicle that was speeding and in violation of road traffic rules, the Traffic Police services at the Vlora DVP immediately carried out verifications and identified the vehicle.

From the actions taken, it resulted that the "Audi" vehicle, owned by a private entity, had overtaken on a curve with limited visibility, entering the opposite direction, on the Dhërmi-Himarë road axis.

For these violations, an administrative measure of 52,000 lek was imposed, pursuant to Council Decision No. 153, Article 350, for violations of Articles 141, point 10, 139, points 3 and 8, and Article 127, points 3 and 1 of the Road Code.

In another case, after a report that a taxi had overtaken illegally, breaking traffic rules, the Saranda Traffic Police services immediately made it possible to identify its driver, who, from the verifications carried out, resulted in overtaking illegally, entering the opposite direction, on the Saranda-Ksamil road axis.

For these violations, an administrative measure of 40,000 lek was imposed, pursuant to Council of Ministers No. 153, Article 350, for violations of Articles 146, point 16 and 139, points 3 and 8 of the Road Code. /CNA
