The Greek police have followed a vehicle coming from the Albanian-Greek border, which was suspected of transporting narcotics.

Greek forces have made it possible to stop the vehicle after a few kilometers in the area of ??the city of Arta. 68 packages containing 128.5 kg of marijuana were found inside the vehicle.

The operation took place on "Ionia" street and two Albanians were handcuffed. A fake Greek identity card was also found in the possession of one of them, while he was banned from entering the Greek state.

What stands out in this operation is the fact that the seized vehicle has Albanian license plates and is thought to have passed legally at the border crossing point, while it is suspected that drugs were loaded inside it on Greek soil.
