A 39-year-old man was arrested by the Tirana police after being accused of sexually harassing and raping a woman. The event happened in Tirana.

Official sources from the police informed that it is about the citizen with the initials SM, previously convicted for murder.

POLICE NOTICE

He sexually harassed and raped a citizen, he was caught and put in handcuffs by the services of Police Station No. 3., the 39-year-old, previously convicted of murder.

Within a few minutes, from the services of Police Station No. 3, citizen SM, 39 years old, was caught and arrested in the act for the criminal offenses "Sexual Harassment" and "Other Intentional Damage".

From the further investigative actions, it has emerged that this citizen, on 11.07.2022, in "Skënderbej" square, punched the AD citizen and then forcibly took his mobile device.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
