To catch drug traffickers, the carabinieri in Italy are using all kinds of means, not ignoring any information that comes to you.

According to the Italian media , the carabinieri had a signal that a 34-year-old man was involved in drug trafficking, and to confirm the information, they visited him at home as an express postman. As soon as the 34-year-old opened the door, they handcuffed him and searched his apartment.

They had suspicions that the Albanian with the initials GN was involved in drug trafficking and the raid happened after it was previously planned to hit the network that filled the area where he lived with cocaine and cannabis.

After the information, the police kept the house under surveillance and intervened after they arrested a 30-year-old man who was a client of the Albanian, who was found with 100 grams of hashish and then confessed the scheme of how the network worked.

Meanwhile, 170 grams of hashish were found in the apartment, hidden in the bedroom, while in two bottles there were also about 50 heat-insulated doses (80 grams) of cocaine, ready for sale.

Two electronic scales and suitable packaging material were also seized. /CNA.al
