A serious car accident has claimed the lives of two young Albanians in Greece, as the car ended up overturned in a canal with water on the road axis that connects Lamia with Livadhjana.

According to information from   protothema.gr, the   two victims in last night's traffic accident are brothers.

 The driver was 30 years old and the passenger of the car, his younger brother, 27 years old.

Due to the high speed, the 30-year-old driver was unable to keep the vehicle on the road and the collision ended up in the Erkyna river.

As a result, the two brothers lost their lives and the other three people traveling in the vehicle, a 31-year-old man of Albanian origin, a 29-year-old Greek and a 22-year-old also Greek, were seriously injured.

All of them were sent to Livadeia hospital while the cause of the accident is being investigated by the Livadia Traffic Department./ ET-CNA.al
