He was trapped at "Tujani Rock"/ Belgian tourist rescued in Tirana

The Alpine Unit of the National Security Force has assisted and rescued a Belgian tourist, who had become stranded at "Tujanit Rock" in Tirana, due to difficult mountain terrain and darkness.

The 26-year-old is in good health.

Police announcement:

The services of Police Commissariat No. 4 and the Alpine Unit of the Tirana National Security Force assisted a Belgian tourist who had been stranded at the place called "Tujan's Rock".

Immediately after receiving the notification that a Belgian tourist had become stranded at the site called "Tujan's Rock", due to difficult terrain and darkness, the Police services organized the work to locate and assist the tourist.

Due to the difficult terrain, the search was conducted in collaboration with the Tirana National Security Force's Alpine Unit. After several hours of searching during the evening, it was possible to find the 26-year-old tourist, in good health, and extract him from the place where he had been trapped.

The tourist thanked the police officers for their quick assistance.
