Health problems from low temperatures/New details about the incident in Vau e

New details are being learned from the incident that occurred today in Vau e Dejës.

The police inform that, contrary to previous reports, there are no injuries, but as a result of low temperatures, the citizen suffered frostbite of his limbs and for this reason, sought help.

According to information, citizen F. D was in a tent, in a place called "Fusha e Liqenit", in the village of Shllak.

Due to the difficult terrain on Mount Cukali, he was transported on foot by police officers to the ambulance and is out of danger.

According to the Police:

"Around 11:20, a citizen called the operations room of the Vau i Dejës Police Station and said that in a tent, in a place called "Fusha e Liqenit", in the village of Shllak, it is suspected that a citizen was injured.

After the notification, the Police services organized the work and went to the given address.

From the first investigative actions carried out in this case, it results that citizen FD (suspected of having mental health problems) was not injured, but as a result of low temperatures, he suffered frostbite of his limbs, and for this reason, he sought help.

Due to the difficult terrain on Mount Cukali, where citizen FD was found, he is being transported on foot by police officers to the ambulance that has arrived near the scene.
