Suspected of drug cultivation/ 53-year-old man in handcuffs in Malësia e

Suspected as an accomplice in the cultivation of 161 narcotic plants, the 53-year-old man was arrested and put in handcuffs.

As a result of continuous checks to locate and apprehend wanted citizens, based on information provided by intelligence, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat have located, apprehended and detained the citizen:

LK, 53 years old, resident of the village of Ivanaj.

This citizen was declared wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.

Citizen LK is suspected of having cultivated 161 cannabis plants in the village of Ivanaj in July 2023, in collaboration with 3 other citizens.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action. /CNA
