Children's poisoning in Gramsh kindergarten/ Hospital director: Analyses

The Director of Gramsh Hospital, Greta Lena, has reacted to the case of poisoning of children in a state kindergarten.

In her response, the director says that initially a child presented to the hospital with fever, diarrhea, and vomiting.

Then, according to what the director stated, two other children showed up, with milder symptoms.

 

" Initially, a child presented to the emergency room with more severe symptoms, including high fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. We referred him for hygiene examinations, and tests confirmed the presence of salmonella bacteria."

Then, two other children with milder symptoms who attended the kindergarten arrived at the hospital, where laboratory tests again confirmed the presence of salmonella.

"The kindergarten premises were immediately disinfected and subsequently, at least in the hospital, no more cases of children with symptoms have been reported ," said the hospital director./ CNA
