3334 cannabis plants destroyed in Lezha/ 30-year-old arrested, brother wanted

A 30-year-old man has been arrested by Lezha police after discovering a plot of cannabis sativa seedlings.

The police identified 3,334 seedlings which were seized as material evidence, along with a firearm used to guard the plot.

Following the operation, two other people were identified and declared wanted, one of whom was the brother of the 30-year-old arrested.

The two brothers are wanted for intentional injury.

Lezhë/The police operation codenamed "Coordination" continues, to prevent, identify and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants.

As a result of intensified controls by the services of the Lezha Police Commissariat and the Shëngjin Police Station, a plot with around 3,334 seedlings and suspected narcotic plants of the cannabis sativa type was identified in Mali i Rrenci.

During the intervention by the Police services, citizen SB, alias SM, 30 years old, resident of Velipojë, Shkodër, a person wanted by the Shkodër Police Department, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of intentional minor injury.

Following the operation, citizens MB, 25 years old, (brother of the arrested person) and FF, 30 years old, both residents of Velipojë, Shkodër, were identified and declared wanted.

 The services of the Lezha Police Commissariat continue their work to capture them.

The two brothers, SB and MB, are wanted by the Shkodra Police Department for the criminal offense of "Intentional Minor Injury", committed in collaboration.

During the operation, a shotgun was seized, suspected of being used to guard the plot.

The narcotic seedlings and plants were destroyed on site by burning, with some being seized as material evidence.
