Dibra police have arrested 32-year-old SB, who stole a person's bag, which contained a sum of money.

The 32-year-old, previously convicted of theft, was found and seized during the search, along with a quantity of narcotics and combat ammunition.

He stole a citizen's bag, which contained a large amount of money in euros and lek. The 32-year-old was identified, caught, and put in handcuffs.

During the search of this citizen's apartment, the police found a quantity of narcotics divided into doses, cannabis seeds, cubes in which he had cultivated cannabis seeds, and combat ammunition.

The services of the Dibër Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Specialists for the Investigation of Narcotics and Trafficking of the Dibër DVP, after receiving the notification that the British citizens had stolen the bag inside which there was a large amount of money (in euros and lek), organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.

As part of the police operation codenamed "Repeater", based on police intelligence and rapid investigative actions, it was possible to identify, locate, capture and arrest the suspected perpetrator of the theft, citizen SB, 32 years old, resident of the village of Laças, Dibër, previously convicted of theft.

During the search of the 32-year-old's apartment, police found and seized a quantity of the narcotic cannabis, divided into doses ready for sale, 270 cannabis seeds, 6 cubes in which he had cultivated cannabis seeds, and combat ammunition.

The procedural materials were passed to the Dibër Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
