AMP arrests the deputy commissioner in Durrës/ He is accused of abuse of

A police officer with the rank of Deputy Commissioner in the Durrës Local Police Directorate has been detained for corruption and abuse of office.

Through an official announcement, the Police Supervision Agency informs that it is about the 31-year-old with the initials A.Xh, as it is suspected that he used his position and exerted pressure on some citizens who were associated with narcotic doses, in exchange for monetary benefits.

FULL NOTICE:

The Police Surveillance Agency (Durrës - Kavajë Region) in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of the General Directorate in AMP and the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës has arrested police officer N/commissioner Ardit Xhafa in flagrante delicto. , 31 years old, in the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Durrës Local Police Directorate.

The ban was carried out in function of the proceedings registered by this Prosecutor on suspicions of committing the criminal offenses "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" and "Abuse of duty".

From the conducted investigations, it was possible to document the corrupt actions of the officer A.XH., who by misusing the attributes given to him by his duties as an officer in the Narcotics Investigation Section in the DVP Durrës and by exploiting the position, exerted pressure and deceived the citizens who accompanied with narcotic doses, against monetary benefits.

The investigations continue until the complete documentation of this illegal activity./CNA.al
