OSSH has carried out checks against abusers of electricity and have identified 3 cases of violations in Tirana.

Under the direction of the Regional Directorate of OSSH Tirana, the Verifikim Matje groups have discovered and prosecuted a car wash after stealing electricity in the Qesaraka area.

From the checks carried out, it was established that the car wash was illegally connected to the DSO electrical network, causing economic damage to society as well as a criminal offence.

Also, another private subject, a store, was reported, which abused the energy in the Qesaraka area.

Following the checks, the New Ring Operative Group discovered and prosecuted the family subscriber, a private house in the New Ring area, after the checks carried out revealed that the subscriber had changed the meter (with the help of private electricians) by installing meters private with reduced condition kv.
