Home inspection and extradition request/ Police clarify the arrest of the former

The State Police reacted to the arrest of the former KLA fighter, Dritan Goxhaj, at the request of the Special Court.

Through an official announcement, the Blues inform that a physical control was exercised in Goxhaj's apartment and the latter was arrested, by order of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, which aims to extradite the former KLA fighter- of.

"Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Serious Crimes against the Person in the Tirana Local Police Directorate executed the decision dated 20.07.2023, of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, which has decided to allow the physical control and the apartment of the citizen DG, as well as the appointment of the personal security measure "Arrest in prison", with the purpose of extradition, against the citizen DG, 45 years old, born in Fier and resident in Tirana.     

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana." - it is said in the police announcement./CNA.al
