Abused the 18-year-old/ The 26-year-old is arrested

The Criminal Investigation Structures at the Durrës Local Police Directorate, after receiving a report that a citizen had committed sexual intercourse with violence and caused physical harm to an 18-year-old Italian woman, immediately organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.

After several hours of investigations and professional actions, it became possible to identify the perpetrator, locate him, capture him and arrest him in flagrante delicto, specifically citizen LP, 26 years old, resident of neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, previously convicted.

The arrest of citizen LP was carried out after, at around 05:25 in the morning on 05.09.2025, on the sun loungers in front of a hotel in neighborhood 13, this citizen had forcible sexual intercourse with an 18-year-old Italian citizen.

The investigative materials will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for the criminal offense of "Sexual or homosexual relations with violence with minors aged 14-18".
