Wanted by SPAK for drug trafficking/Interpol "arrests" Soni Pepa

Interpol has arrested Albanian citizen Soni Pepa in Santo Domingo. The 40-year-old was internationally wanted for participation in drug trafficking.

During the arrest, an Albanian passport, Italian documents, and 5 encrypted cell phones were found, as well as cash.

The 40-year-old is linked to the 11-ton shipment of cocaine, 600 kilograms of which were seized in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, between November 7 and 8, 2020.

He is also accused of financing the purchase of another 10 kilograms in the same city.

The 40-year-old was part of a transnational criminal group operating in several European and South American countries, with the aim of trafficking significant quantities of narcotics./ CNA
