Possession and trafficking of cocaine / 2 Albanians arrested in Crete

Two Albanians, aged 41 and 52, are arrested for drug possession and trafficking in Crete, Greece.

The operation was part of the Heraklion Police Directorate's special plan to combat drug trafficking.

The preliminary investigation is continuing by the Drug Law Enforcement Department of the Heraklion Criminal Investigation and Prosecution Sub-Directorate, with the aim of identifying any accomplices and drug trafficking routes.

During the investigation, the following were found and seized:

– 1 kilogram and 92 grams of cocaine

– 910 euros in cash, obtained from drug trafficking

–3 mobile phones

The preliminary investigation is continuing by the Narcotics Department of the Criminal Investigation and Prosecution Sub-Directorate in Heraklion./ CNA
