Violence, sexual harassment and traffic violations/ 5 people arrested

Durrës Police have arrested 5 people for various criminal offenses.

73-year-old AL was arrested for assaulting his wife. Another elderly man was arrested after being reported by a 21-year-old girl for sexual harassment, and sports betting was also found on his mobile phone.

Three people have been arrested for violating traffic rules by driving while intoxicated.

Police announcement:

"Crime Investigation Specialists of the Durrës Police Commissariat arrested citizen AL, 73 years old, resident of Durrës, in flagrante delicto, after he had committed violence against his wife.    

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Plazh Police Station arrested citizen MM, 71 years old, resident of Durrës, after yesterday, a 21-year-old woman reported that he had sexually harassed her. During the examination of citizen MM's mobile phone, it was found that sports betting sites were open.  

Durrës DVP Road Traffic Specialists:

-arrested in flagrante delicto citizens AA, 50 years old, and M. Sh., 38 years old, both residents of Durrës, after they were caught driving their respective vehicles while intoxicated; 

-they arrested the wanted citizen F. Gj., 48 years old, resident of Hamallaj, after the Durrës Court sentenced him to 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Violation of road traffic rules". / CNA
