He was armed with a pistol/ The 30-year-old man was arrested in flagrante

The 30-year-old, who was previously convicted of illegal possession of a weapon and robbery, was caught red-handed and placed in handcuffs while armed with a pistol with a loaded cartridge in the holster.

His friend is also arrested for failing to report a crime.

A pistol with combat ammunition is seized.  

The "Eagle" Special Force services, in continuation of their work to identify and crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, based on information obtained about a citizen who was traveling armed, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Again". 

During the operation, the Police services caught citizen SS red-handed on "Ibrahim Rugova" street, moving on foot, with a pistol firearm with a cartridge in the holster, which he was carrying on his belt. 

Following the procedural actions, the Crime Investigation specialists of Police Commissariat No. 2 arrested the following citizens: SS, 30 years old, resident of Tirana, with a significant criminal record, and ET, 35 years old, who accompanied the 30-year-old.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
