The police in Kuçovo have arrested the citizen Gj. S., 36 years old, after threatening to kill his mother and sister and locking them in a room in the apartment.

According to the police, the 36-year-old suffers from mental health problems. It was the mother and sister themselves who made the report to the police. 

"The services of the Kuçovo Police Station arrested in the act the citizen Gj. S., 36 years old (with mental health problems), a resident of Kuçovo, after his mother and sister reported that the 36-year-old was deprived of his freedom, in a room of their apartment, and that he threatened them with their lives, with a cutting tool. The investigative and procedural actions for this case continue.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions," the announcement states./ CNA
