The criminal group is hit in Kurbin/Traffickers are caught during the exchange of drugs, they burn the ship

The Albanian police, in cooperation with the Guardia di Finanza and the American DEA, conducted an international anti-drug operation this Tuesday and hit a criminal group.

The media reports that the criminal group is based in Fushë-Kuqe of Kurbin. The police intervened when the traffickers were exchanging cannabis for heroin and cocaine.

The latter, in an attempt to escape, set fire to a sailboat as soon as the blue ones approached. It is thought that there were packages of drugs in this boat.

Police forces escorted several people and blocked 4 boats. There is still no official information from the police about this international operation, while more details are expected to be revealed./ CNA
