Gasoline canister explodes on the boat/ 4 tourists and the driver of the boat suffer burns

A 28 liter canister of petrol exploded on a boat owned by a tour company, which had just set sail from the approved water corridor.

The event happened around 17:30, in the area of ??Drimadha, in Himare.

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the explosion occurred as a result of vacuum and heat.

Citizens AK, 24 years old, AH, 24 years old, LS 24 years old and MK, 21 years old, all four from Kosovo, as well as the driver of the boat, citizen NL, 32 years old, living in Vlora, suffered minor burns from the gasoline spray.

All five of these citizens received first medical aid and then left as the injuries were minor.

The investigative group went to the scene and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the work continues for the full legal documentation of the cause of the fire involving the tourist vehicle./ CNA
