Following the work to prevent and combat the criminal activity of distributing narcotics, based on the information provided by police intelligence, for a citizen suspected of distributing narcotics cocaine and cannabis sativa, the services of the Saranda Police Station have finalized the police operation coded "Vrina".

In the framework of this operation, in the village of Vrîna, the police services have stopped the vehicle in which the citizen suspected of being involved in this criminal activity, the citizen KM, was driving.

Despite signaling to stop, this citizen increased the speed of the vehicle and hit a police officer (Criminal Police agent) with the vehicle, who was slightly injured as a result.

The Police Services pursued this citizen and after a few minutes, blocked the vehicle and arrested its driver, citizen KM, 22 years old, a resident of Konispol.

During the physical search and in the vehicle driven by the 22-year-old, the Police services found a small amount of suspected narcotic substance cocaine, while during the search in his apartment, they found 108 ammunition.

Further verifications showed that this citizen was driving the vehicle without a driving license and without having the relevant documentation for this vehicle.

Narcotics, ammunition and the vehicle of the citizen KM were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Saranda, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Disobedience" to the order of the public order police officer" and "Driving vehicles in an irregular manner"./ CNA
