Gunshot murder in Gjilan/ The number of victims rises to 3, the perpetrator is

A serious incident occurred today in Gjilan, where victims and injured people were recorded from gunshots.

Initially, two people died, leaving two others injured. However, one of the injured did not survive his injuries, dying later.

For the serious incident, the Kosovo Police has declared citizen M. Sh., suspected as the author of the tragic incident in Gjilan, wanted. He is a well-known figure to the authorities, as he was arrested for usury a year ago.

Earlier, the Police spokesman for the Gjilan region, Ismet Hashani, shared some details from the incident.

"I inform you that today, 10.08.2025, at around 12:32, it is suspected that a case of murder and injury with a firearm occurred in Gjilan, Ibrahim Rugova Street. In this case, the attending physician has determined the death of two people and it is suspected that two other people were injured and were provided with assistance at the emergency center here in Gjilan. The suspect in the case is a male citizen of Kosovo, known to the police who is currently on the run. The relevant units and the state prosecutor have arrived at the scene. The Kosovo Police, the regional investigation unit in cooperation with the state prosecutor are investigating the circumstances of this serious case," said Hashani./CNA
