A tragic incident has occurred in Thailand, where at least 22 people have died and 55 others have been injured in a railway accident. The incident occurred when a crane on a bridge under construction fell on a train. According to local authorities, there were 190 people on board the train.
The train, traveling from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani province, was passing through the area when a large construction crane fell on one of its carriages. Several carriages derailed and a fire broke out in the wreckage, trapping passengers inside.
Rescue teams immediately went to the scene and launched a rescue operation, while dozens of injured were transported to nearby hospitals. Authorities said the death toll could rise as some of the injured are in critical condition. /CNA
