Trump, in front of US military troops: If we are in a war, we will win it

President Donald Trump has arrived on the USS George Washington warship, where he is currently delivering a speech to US troops gathered there.

During his speech, Trump stated that unlike past administrations, he will not be politically correct and that when it comes to defending the US, if they are going to war, they will win the war.

"Unlike past administrations, we will not be politically correct. That doesn't bother you, does it? When it comes to defending the United States, from now on, if we're at war, we're going to win the war."

Trump further praised the friendship with Japan, addressing newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi:

"Born from the ashes of a terrible war, our bond has grown over eight decades into the beautiful friendship we have," he said./ CNA
