Trump closes final rally of 2024 campaign

Trump has just wrapped up at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where it's 2:09 a.m. During the speech he returned to the dominant themes of his campaign, the economy and immigration.

He repeated some of his campaign promises, including that he wants the death penalty for any migrant who kills a law enforcement officer or an American citizen.

The former president underlined his ambition to fix every single problem facing our country.

"I think we're going to have a big result later," he told the audience.

"In conclusion, with your vote we will fire Kamala and save America. We will lower your taxes and inflation, lower your prices, raise your wages, and bring thousands of factories to America and to Michigan. and a lot will be to use my favorite word tariff," Trump said during the rally to cheers./ CNA
