Russian missile attack sirens across Ukraine

Sirens were sounded across Ukraine to warn of possible Russian attacks on Wednesday morning, as Ukrainian authorities asked citizens to take shelter.

"Danger of missile attacks through the territory of Ukraine! [Russian jets] MiG-31Ks are taking off from the Savasleika airfield [in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region]," the Ukrainian Air Force warned on the Telegram social network.

They urged Ukrainians not to ignore warnings of possible airstrikes.

Since the beginning of this year, Russia has carried out large and continuous airstrikes in the regions of Ukraine.
