Road collapses in Pristina/Water supply interrupted in several areas, investigations into the incident begin

“Don Shtjefën Kurti” Street in Pristina has completely collapsed as a result of a landslide the day before. As a result, the water supply network was damaged and water supply was interrupted in several areas of the capital of Kosovo. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

The area has been cordoned off and the road remains impassable for vehicles and pedestrians, while citizens have been urged to avoid this segment and follow the instructions of authorities on the ground.

Meanwhile, it is reported that investigations have been launched into the incident, and the owner of a construction company has been questioned. The mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has announced to the media in Kosovo that several inspectors have been suspended in connection with the case. /CNA
