US-Iran tensions ease/ Four countries begin talks in Islamabad

Talks between the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt have begun in Islamabad.

The four countries appear to be playing the role of mediators in efforts to reduce tensions between the United States and Iran.

The talks are taking place at a time of heightened geopolitical tension in the region, with the aim of promoting diplomatic initiatives that could pave the way for dialogue between Washington and Tehran. 

According to information cited by international media, the four countries are trying to contribute to the creation of a communication framework that could lead to a reduction in tensions and possible negotiations, as developments in the Middle East remain particularly fluid.
