"The US is a strategic partner"/ Zelensky: Putin is ordering attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky once again emphasized the strategic partnership with the United States and respect for US President Donald Trump.

In an interview with The Guardian, Zelensky also shared some concerns related to the country's conditions during the more than three-year war.

"Trump was elected by his people. We must respect the choice made by the American people, just as I was elected by my people. The United States is our strategic partner, for many years, maybe even decades and centuries," the Ukrainian president said.

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, with daily attacks, Zelensky said that this situation has returned to normal, while adding that citizens constantly face electricity fluctuations.

"These are our living conditions. It's normal. We have power outages in Kiev, like everywhere else. Putin is ordering 'terrorist attacks' on Ukraine's energy system, killing civilians and leaving them without power and water. He cannot create tension within our society in any other way," Zelensky said. /CNA
