Elections in Kosovo/ Osmani: Use your right and go to the polls

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani reacted today as mayoral runoff elections are being held in 18 of the country's 38 municipalities.

In a statement to the media, Osmani said that citizens with the right to vote should take advantage of this day and go to the polls.

Osmani added that with citizen participation, Kosovo has the strongest electoral democracy in the region.

"I hope that each of the citizens with the right to vote will exercise this right and go to the polls. Kosovo has the strongest electoral democracy in the region, and this is because of the participation of citizens, because of the regularity of the electoral processes and because we always organize free and democratic elections," said Osmani. /CNA
