US: First 6 days of war against Iran cost more than $11 billion

The first six days of the war against Iran cost the United States at least $11.3 billion, according to a source citing Trump administration officials.

The figure, which emerged from a closed-door meeting with senators in Congress, does not include the total cost of the war, but was given to politicians after a request for further information about the war.

Many expect the White House to soon submit a request to Congress for additional funding for the war. In fact, some officials estimate the cost the White House is believed to be seeking as high as $50 billion, although others consider that estimate low.

The administration has not publicly disclosed the estimated cost of the war, nor has it revealed the objectives or anticipated duration of the operation.
