US President Donald Trump has reacted to the IEA's decision to release 400 million barrels of oil from reserves.
According to Trump, the release of strategic oil reserves reduces pressure to end the US-Israeli war against Iran.
"I am pleased to announce that earlier today, the International Energy Agency agreed to coordinate the release of a record 400 million barrels of oil from various national oil reserves," Trump said.
"This will significantly lower oil prices while we end this threat to America and this threat to the world. We don't want to leave prematurely, do we? Huh? We have to finish the job," the US President added./ CNA
