Russian rockets hit Dnipro, nine people were injured

Russian missiles hit an apartment block and a Ukrainian security service building in the central city of Dnipro on Friday night, injuring nine people and causing extensive damage.

The regional governor, Serhiy Lysak, said on Telegram that the injured were being treated at home.

The mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, said that it was the third time that the buildings of the SBU security service were hit. 

Photos posted on social media showed part of a building reduced to rubble and debris strewn across a large yard.

"Dnipro. Another terrorist attack," said Sergiy Kruk, head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, on Telegram. 

"We currently know of 9 injured people, including two children. The work continues," he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he had called emergency meetings with the SBU, the interior ministry, emergency services and local officials after the rocket attacks./ CNA.al
