Kosovo police have arrested four suspects during a wide-ranging operation in three locations in Vushtrri on Saturday morning, authorities announced.
In a joint press release, the Police and the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica said they had raided the homes of four suspects, two in the village of Ropicë in Vushtrri and one in the city of Vushtrri.
Three of the arrested are suspected of committing the criminal offense of coercion, according to the statement.
The obligation is punishable by a fine and imprisonment of three months to five years, according to the Criminal Code of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the other arrested person - who was on the run - is suspected of the criminal offenses of minor bodily harm and prison escape.
All four suspects have been remanded in custody for 48 hours, the statement said.
