After the February 9 elections/ How many votes did party leaders in Kosovo

The Central Election Commission in Kosovo published yesterday the preliminary results of the February 9 parliamentary elections in Kosovo, after counting 100 percent of votes from polling stations.

According to preliminary results, the Vetëvendosje Movement received 342,281 votes or 40.80 percent, the Democratic Party received 184,811 or 22.03 percent, the Democratic League received 147,888 or 17.63 percent, and the AAK Nisma coalition received 62,588 or 7.46 percent of the votes.

These are preliminary results and do not include conditional votes, votes from people with special needs, and votes from the diaspora.

It is also interesting to see how many votes the leaders of political parties in Kosovo received. According to the data so far, they are ranked as follows:

· Albin Kurti, leader of the Vetevendosje Movement and candidate for prime minister – 259,532 votes

· Bedri Hamza, candidate for prime minister from the Democratic Party of Kosovo – 150,294 votes

· Memli Krasniqi, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo – 85,293 votes

· Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo and candidate for prime minister – 109,202 votes

· Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and candidate for prime minister – 37,752 votes

· Zllatan Ellek, leader of the Serbian List – 9,354 votes. /CNA
