"It's not going in the right direction"/ Trump criticizes Europe during the Davos forum

The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, is giving his speech at the Davos Economic Forum, where several world leaders, including many Europeans, are present. Trump harshly criticized Europe in his speech.

The criticism from the president comes as tensions between the US and Europe are rising over Trump's demand to take over the island of Greenland.

Trump said that Europe's immigration policies and economic policies had led to disastrous consequences, compared to what he called an "economic miracle" in the United States.

"I love Europe and I want to see it do well, but it's not going in the right direction," he said, citing "rising government spending, uncontrolled mass migration and endless foreign imports." /CNA
