"They do not bear responsibility for the accusations"/ Goxhaj:

Former Kosovo Liberation Army fighter Dritan Goxhaj, invited to the "Now" show with Erla Mëhilli, spoke about the judicial process in The Hague.

Goxhaj focused on the Rambouillet Agreement, for which he said that from the beginning, the issue of terminology was opposed by Kosovo.

Focusing on the Hague detainees, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, Goxhaj said that they were not KLA leaders, but political representatives.

Their duty, Goxhaj said, was the political representation of the KLA and this makes them irresponsible for the charges they are being investigated for.

" What has been discussed from the beginning and which is counterproductive is the issue of terminology, which was presented in a proposal before the groups went to Rambouillet. It was requested to remove the point: Sovereignty of Yugoslavia and what remained of Yugoslavia. Kurti's statement was right, in the Rambouillet agreement it is stated that Kosovo remains an integral part of Yugoslavia and what remained of Yugoslavia. The US asked the KLA to blindly sign the Rambouillet agreement. We signed, Serbia did not.

"Thaci, Krasniqi, Veseli were political representatives of the KLA. They had political representation duties. The accusations made against them for crimes, these people do not bear responsibility, they do not have command responsibility ," said Goxhaj./ CNA
