The Council of Albanian Ambassadors has reacted to the suspension of the strategic dialogue with Kosovo by the US. The Council of Albanian Ambassadors emphasizes that the suspension of the dialogue with Pristina, while advancing the dialogue with Belgrade, sends the wrong message and risks destabilizing the region, giving space to Serbia's intervention through the Serbian List.

The response emphasizes that Kosovo needs support in building its institutions, not pressures that could paralyze their functioning.

"Kosovo is among the most pro-American countries in the world, with a clear commitment to peace, democracy and Euro-Atlantic values. Suspending the dialogue with Pristina, while advancing the dialogue with Belgrade, sends the wrong message and risks destabilizing the region, giving space to Serbia's intervention through the Serbian List."

Kosovo needs support in building its institutions, not pressures that could paralyze their functioning.

"Belgrade's interventions in Kosovo, through Serbian political parties, must be addressed in close coordination with the US and the EU, and always within the constitutional framework of the Republic of Kosovo," the statement said./ CNA
