The Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabi?, announced today that a session will be held on April 14 to vote on the country's new Government, emphasizing that it is up to the deputies to give the mandated candidate, Gjuro Macu, a chance.

"I hope that the session can start already on Monday, because we have to complete this process by April 18 at midnight. So, we will know the names of the ministers and the composition then, but this depends first of all on the prime minister," Brnabi? told Radio Television of Serbia on Friday.

Brnabic said that she has invited opposition representatives for talks to give mandated Macu a chance.

President Aleksandar Vu?i? announced earlier that Serbia will have a new government by April 18 with young politician ?uro Macut to serve as prime minister.

"It will be a big task for the new government to continue to maintain peace and stability, to act with patience and forbearance. The government must have a clear commitment to the future, and our desire and goal is to return Serbia to the pedestal of the winner and the fastest growing economy by the end of the year," Vu?i? said. /CNA
