An unusual incident has occurred in Moscow, where a limousine belonging to Russian President Vladimir Putin's fleet has burst into flames near the headquarters of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Lubyanka district.
While Russian authorities have not yet released the name of the person inside the vehicle, the incident has sparked much speculation about the possibility of an assassination attempt.
The limousine involved in the incident is an Aurus Senat, a luxury car valued at around 329,000 euros. At the moment, no one has reported any injuries, while authorities are investigating the cause of the vehicle explosion.
At this stage, it is unclear whether the explosion was an accident or a deliberate attack, and international media have begun to speculate about the possibility of an assassination attempt on a high-ranking state figure. Meanwhile, Russian authorities continue to keep information about the event closed to the public. /CNA
