Israeli Prime Minister: Victory over Iran opens window for peace

Victory over Iran creates new opportunities for peace agreements that Israel should not let go of, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday.

In a statement, Netanyahu said this victory offers the opportunity for a dramatic expansion of the peace agreements and that work is being enthusiastically underway in this direction.

"Along with the release of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas, there is a window of opportunity that must not be missed. We cannot waste a single day," Netanyahu said.

On Wednesday, Netanyahu declared at a government meeting that Israel had a major victory in the campaign against an enemy that came to destroy. And that he had the popular support of the country./CNA
