The KFOR commander gives details of the military presence in the North of Kosovo

The commander of KFOR, Major General Ozkan Uluta?, stated at the end of this year that after the Banjska incident, the presence of military forces in the north of Kosovo has quadrupled. 

Aji added that they have tripled the number of patrols, including those along the administrative border line. 

"After the violent incident of September 24 and the unacceptable attacks on KFOR troops in early May, NATO has deployed additional reserve forces with additional capacities. Now we are developing more activities. We have quadrupled our presence in the north of Kosovo and tripled the number of patrols, including those along the administrative border line. These are prudent steps to ensure that KFOR has the forces it needs to continue fulfilling its UN mandate, fully and impartially," he said./CNA
