Mbledhja e Sinodit të Shenjtë të Kishës së Greqisë doli me një votim unanim kundër projektligjit për martesën e çifteve të të njëjtit seks (homoseksualëve). 

Nga këndvështrimi i Kishës, nënvizohet se janë pro familjes, modelit të babait dhe të nënës, raporton Kathemerini.

Në mbledhje u vendos gjithashtu edhe për dërgimin e një letre për 300 deputetët dhe sipas burimeve të mirëinformuara do të jetë një tekst me karakter juridik, i cili do të analizojë pasojat juridike që do të lindin nëse kalohet në paralament ky projektligj. 

Ndërkohë më 4 shkurt, do të lexohet një tekst ë kishat e të gjithë vendit, i cili do të jetë i shkruar në gjuhë të kuptueshme dhe të thjeshtë, për të analizuar qëndrimin e Kishës për besimtarët./CNA
