"They have the capacity to reach deep into Europe"/ Netanyahu visits

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Tehran for targeting a civilian area as he visited the site of an Iranian attack on the southern Israeli city of Arad on Tuesday, saying Iran's goal was to kill civilians.

"In the last 48 hours, the last 48 hours, Iran targeted a civilian area. They are doing this as a weapon of mass destruction. Fortunately, no one was killed, but that is due to luck, not their intent. Their intent is to kill civilians ," Netanyahu said.

Israel's emergency response service announced a mass casualty event after the attack in Arad yesterday that injured at least 84 people, 10 of them seriously. The city of Dimona was also hit in a separate ballistic missile attack.

Netanyahu, meanwhile, further said that Iran has the capacity to reach deep into Europe.

"I have warned all along, they now have the capacity to reach deep into Europe. They have already shot at European countries, Cyprus. They are targeting everyone. Iran is blocking an international sea route – an energy route – and is trying to blackmail the whole world. What more proof do you need that this regime, which threatens the whole world, must be stopped?" Netanyahu said. /CNA
